Easter revision 2025
The Easter break is a key time to get on top of your revision for GCSE's, A Levels, IB or AP's for exams next summer. It can also be an opportunity to have some extra support in non exam years to ensure deep understanding of topics. Maybe the move up from GCSE's to A Level is bigger than you expected and you just need to go over some topics and boost your confidence. We have a bank of experienced, subject specific tutors here to help. Book hourly sessions or a block of sessions to use during the holiday. Sessions are online, using Teams, Zoom or Skype depending on your preference and location. Online sessions allow you the flexibility to study at any time in the comfort of your home.
Our support is flexible - tailored to your needs. This might be a full on 4 hour day for a week, or just a 1 hour session to cover a particular topic.
Subject revision
You may be struggling with specific topics within your course, or simply feel you don't understand the subject at all! One to one tutoring, or small group if you wish to study with a friend, is the opportunity to address these concerns at your own pace, in an environment where any question can be asked. Our tutors will design sessions to build on your existing knowledge, or start from scratch, whatever you require. They will also set assessments to check your understanding and give lots of feedback on your work. Intensive revision sessions can raise your grades and support you to achieve your goals.
Exam technique
Sometimes students feel they have good knowledge but still don't get the marks they are hoping for in assessments. Why not book an exam workshop with one of our tutors to identify where you may be losing marks and what you can do to pick up more. Learn to understand what a question is really asking, what the examiner really wants to see, and how to best and most efficiently communicate this to them.
Medicine or Dentistry
Thinking of studying medicine or dentistry - why not book a slot with one of our medics or dentists to discuss what the course is really like and how you can maximise your chances of success when applying.
Need a bit of help getting there? English Literature
Send us a message on the 'contact us' form, naming the texts you are studying and we can set up a session specifically focusing on these. Our English Literature expert has taught a large number of examined texts over the years. Tutoring can improve your critical analysis of texts plus the way you express yourself in answers, specifically improve the clarity and sophistication of your arguments which is essential for an A* grade.
